About the ship

Personal motor boat Arnošt of Parubice was manufactured in 2001 and modernized after ten years. In 2011, the original operator (the Pardubická plavební a.s.) and the Dopravní podnik of Pardubice a.s. (the Pardubice Public Transport) agreed to modernize the boat and operate it under a contractual relationship.

The boat operator for a minimum of the following 10 years will be the Dopravní podnik města Pardubic. We have to thank the Municipality of Pardubice for granting financial support to the modernization and to company JESKO CZ s.r.o. for managing to carry such a demanding task in a very short time. Special thanks are to be expressed to Mr Jaroslav Jiráň – the manager of the modernization project.

We should also express our gratitude to all of those who participated in the project, that is the sub-contractors and to Ing. Vladimír Balcar for the project documentation design.
